H70MD205 is an AS568-205 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.421 in (10.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.699 in (17.75 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
