Ordered as H70MD232, this is an AS568-232 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or strong acids are present.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include fluid power, general industrial maintenance, and agricultural equipment.
