Ordered as H70MD332, this is an AS568-332 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.77 in (70.36 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
