APG stocks the SH70017, an AS568-017 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or ketones will shorten service life.
