Ordered as SH70034, this is an AS568-034 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.114 in (53.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.254 in (57.25 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to water, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ketones.
