The SH70038 is an AS568-038 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance.
