SH70120 is an AS568-120 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.987 in (25.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.193 in (30.3 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving polar solvents or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
