568-136 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

The SH70136 is an AS568-136 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The compound resists many alcohols, water, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in fluid power, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
