-164 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

The H70164 is an AS568-164 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists water, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or automotive brake fluid.
