SH70259 is an AS568-259 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight.
