SH70261 is an AS568-261 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.734 in (171.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.012 in (178.1 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.
