-409 BLACK BUNA 70D O-RING

The H70409 is an AS568-409 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight.
