SH70016 is an AS568-016 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material holds up against propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
