SH70021 is an AS568-021 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.
