The SH70032 is an AS568-032 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.864 in (47.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.004 in (50.9 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs.
