Part number H70043 is an AS568-043 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.489 in (88.62 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.629 in (92.18 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or ketones.
