The H2X118 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 118 mm (4.646 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 122 mm (4.8 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists water, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.
