2.4MM CS X 11.8MM ID BLACK BUNA 70D

H2.4X11.8 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.8 mm (0.465 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 16.6 mm (0.65 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. This item is further identified as Metric O-RING, JIS P12.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
