Ordered as H2.62X11.91, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.91 mm (0.469 in), a cross section of 2.62 mm (0.103 in), and an outside diameter of 17.15 mm (0.68 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against water, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or ketones.
