The H6X12 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 12 mm (0.472 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 24 mm (0.94 in). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
