APG stocks the H2X12.5, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 12.5 mm (0.492 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 16.5 mm (0.65 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, water, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or strong acids will shorten service life.
