APG stocks the H2.5X13, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13 mm (0.512 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 18 mm (0.71 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ketones call for a different compound.
