This o-ring is supplied in black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 135 mm (5.315 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 140 mm (5.51 in), catalogued under part number H2.5X135. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.
