H2X14.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.5 mm (0.571 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 18.5 mm (0.73 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
