SH70150 is an AS568-150 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and water. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids.
