H1.6X15.1 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.1 mm (0.594 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 18.3 mm (0.72 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
