This o-ring is supplied in black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 155 mm (6.102 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 163 mm (6.42 in), catalogued under part number H4X155. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or strong acids will shorten service life.
