Ordered as H4.5X15.5, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.5 mm (0.61 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 24.5 mm (0.96 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, water, and many alcohols. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
