Part number H70166 is an AS568-166 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or automotive brake fluid.
