H5.3X170 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 170 mm (6.693 in), a cross section of 5.3 mm (0.209 in), and an outside diameter of 180.6 mm (7.11 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
