H2.5X17.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.5 mm (0.689 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 22.5 mm (0.89 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
