Ordered as H1.02X1.78, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.78 mm (0.07 in), a cross section of 1.02 mm (0.04 in), and an outside diameter of 3.82 mm (0.15 in). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or polar solvents.
