H8X226 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 226 mm (8.898 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 242 mm (9.53 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
