The H1.5X23 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 23 mm (0.906 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 26 mm (1.02 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or automotive brake fluid are present.
