H70232 is an AS568-232 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight.
