The H70238 is an AS568-238 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.484 in (88.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.762 in (95.55 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane.
