SH70238 is an AS568-238 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.484 in (88.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.762 in (95.55 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids.
