Ordered as H4X25, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 25 mm (0.984 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 33 mm (1.3 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
