Part number SH70270 is an AS568-270 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
