H1X27.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 27.5 mm (1.083 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 29.5 mm (1.16 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and water. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
