This o-ring is supplied in black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 29 mm (1.142 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 38 mm (1.5 in), catalogued under part number H4.5X29. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids.
