The H3X290 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 290 mm (11.417 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 296 mm (11.65 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight.
