H4X335 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 335 mm (13.189 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 343 mm (13.5 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists water, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
