The H1X3.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 5.5 mm (0.22 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
