The H1X36 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 36 mm (1.417 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 38 mm (1.5 in). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

It resists propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents.
