H2X36.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 36.5 mm (1.437 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 40.5 mm (1.59 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists water, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or ozone and direct sunlight.
