568-370 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

Part number SH70370 is an AS568-370 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.225 in (208.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.645 in (219.58 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The compound resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
