H2.5X38 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 38 mm (1.496 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 43 mm (1.69 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
