The H1.2X4 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4 mm (0.157 in), a cross section of 1.2 mm (0.047 in), and an outside diameter of 6.4 mm (0.25 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, water, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight.
