APG stocks the H1.6X4, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4 mm (0.157 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 7.2 mm (0.28 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or ketones are present.
